HeadSpa Solutions' Head Spa Academy takes pride in being the only head spa training centre in Australia recognised by the International Head Spa Association (IHSA). We exclusively deliver IHSA’s accredited syllabus, currently used by technicians and universities across South Korea.

Our curriculum covers scalp cosmetology and nutrition, enabling trainees to understand the significance of Korean multi-step scalp facial methods, and why it really works! Our published textbook was developed by esteemed trichology and hair loss research professors, Prof. Ku and Prof. Park, who each have over 20 years of experience in the field.

Course Structure
Our programs consist of multi-part short courses that allow you to learn at your own pace and fit your schedule. Upon completion, you'll receive a course certificate, and completing all courses in a program earns you a full Program Certificate (e.g., Certificate of Head Spa Specialist), enabling you to conduct consultations and head spa sessions confidently.
Theory lessons are self-paced online courses with quizzes to assess your understanding. In-person training is conducted at your salon or in a training room by accredited Australian instructors, focusing on practical skills, salon product usage, consultations, and scalp condition advice.
This is followed by a course held in-person training conducted at your location within your own salon set up (recommended), or in a training room by Australian-accredited instructors. Our prac sessions are not about practising a few massage techniques. It is packed full of practical consultation and information ranging from the setup, how to use the various salon products, tools and devices, conduct consultations, recognise and advise on scalp condition and diseases, and much more.
